For Grades 6-12

The Civics Challenge is an online civics competition for grades 6 through 12. Students are challenged to choose one civics topic then express their creativity through various art forms to earn $1,000, $500 or $250 cash prizes.

For Grades 7-8

Camp O’Connor USA is a free, merit-based civics summer program for middle school students with a mission to educate, encourage and inspire the next generation of leaders.

The O’Connor Institute Ambassadors Civics & Debate Club (OIA) is a free, online program for 9th- through 12th-grade students presented by the Sandra Day O’Connor Institute for American Democracy. OIA promotes the O’Connor Institute’s three pillars: civil discourse, civics education, and civic engagement.

For Grades 12th Grade

The John Jay Fetzer Memorial Scholarship Fund benefits high school seniors who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership, civil debate skills and civics knowledge with a $5,000 scholarship.
